Highly recommend considering birth tender midwifery if you’re looking for a skilled midwife who values autonomy and a hands off approach while also bringing many years of experience and knowledge, Karen would be a wonderful addition to your birth team! Highly recommend if looking for a true Appalachian midwife that will respect your autonomy and provide that wise women care! She is one of my favorite midwives around and who I trust happily with my own. I have the honor of working with Karen also as a fellow birth worker and can speak highly of her professionalism and skills. ·Karen is an amazing midwife. I highly recommend her. I say this as a past client and birth professional myself. Karen delivered three of my six children. Her skill set far surpassed two other previous midwives that I had personally delt with for my own births. In addition I have worked along side several other midwives who’s skill set and bedside manner was not comparable to Karen’s.
