Home Birth Partners ("we," "us," or "our") operates homebirthpartners.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and how to contact us about your information.
When you submit a midwife match request, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, city, state, ZIP code, due timing, birth history, screening answers, provider conversation status, insurance type and plan name, readiness to book, and your written notes about why you are interested in home birth. When you sign up for guides or emails, we collect your email address and the context needed to send the requested information. We may also ask families and selected midwives to confirm whether an introduction led to contact, a consultation, or a client relationship.
If you give matching consent, we may share your referral summary and contact details with selected midwives so they can evaluate whether they may be able to help. We also use service providers that help us operate the site and email system, including hosting, database, analytics, form, and email delivery providers. We require these providers to use the information only to provide services to us.
Some emails or pages may include affiliate links or partner recommendations. We may earn a commission if you sign up or buy through those links, but we do not sell your personal information. Affiliate partners may use their own tracking after you leave our site.
Some information you provide may relate to pregnancy, birth preferences, insurance, or care planning. We use this information to provide the service you requested and to send education you consented to receive. Home Birth Partners is not a health care provider, health plan, or medical advice service.
We retain match request information for up to 12 months unless we need it longer for security, legal, or operational reasons. Email subscribers remain on the list until they unsubscribe or ask us to delete their information.
Midwife information displayed on this site may come from the National Provider Identifier Registry, state licensing or credential sources, established home birth directories, and provider-submitted profile updates. If you are a midwife and wish to update or remove your information, contact us at [email protected].
We use basic analytics to understand aggregate site usage. We also keep first-party records when someone views a midwife profile, opens a profile from a directory page, or selects a phone, email, or website contact link. Those records include the profile, action type, source page, campaign labels when present, and a short-lived browser-session identifier; they do not include the phone number or email address selected. We do not intentionally send match request answers, contact details, or health-related form responses to analytics tools. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
You can unsubscribe from guidance or marketing emails at any time. Transactional updates about an active match request may still be sent. You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop using your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
We use HTTPS, access controls, and tokenized private lead pages to protect submissions. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so please do not submit information you do not want us to use for the matching request.
