Home Birth Partners is a free directory and matching service for families. This page explains how the business is funded and what does not influence directory or routing decisions.
How It Works Today
Matching is free for families. Midwives do not pay per lead, and we do not take a commission on birth services. Every match is based on location, apparent fit, availability information, and public practice information rather than payment.
Affiliate Resources
Some guides and emails include partner links to birth education resources. If you sign up or buy through one of those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Paid links do not affect which midwives appear in the directory or who receives a family match.
Optional Provider Features
Claiming and updating a midwife profile is free today. We may test optional paid profile enhancements in the future, but no provider subscription is currently for sale. If that changes, pricing and included features will be published before anyone is charged.
Free listings will remain available, and paid status will not determine who receives a family match. Families will continue to use matching without charge.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell personal information to third parties.
- We do not receive referral fees from midwives for individual matches.
- We do not take a commission on birth services.
- We do not let affiliate relationships influence directory rankings or matches.
