About Kelly
I was called to be a midwife after practicing as a doula for many years. It was a natural progression. When I was a practicing doula I often felt when supporting my doula clients at home before transferring in to the hospital that I wished they were staying home and didn't need to interupt their process to travel. Home birth is very gentle and at the same time empowering. Creating a midwifery practice where clients are respected, and given the choices in their pregnancies and bringing families into their experiences is extremely important to me. Positive reinforcement, evidence-based practice, and postpartum support that continues after birth are the building blocks of family.
