We believe in being transparent about how this business works. Here is an honest answer.
Matching is currently free on both sides. Families pay nothing. Midwives pay nothing. We are focused on making this genuinely useful before we think about monetization. Every lead we send a midwife is free, and every match we make for a family is free.
Our plan is to offer midwives an optional paid subscription to be featured in the directory, receive priority matching, and get additional referrals. This is not live yet. When it is, it will be clearly disclosed and entirely optional. Midwives who do not subscribe will still be listed in the directory and may still receive referrals.
Families will never pay for matching. That part of the model does not change.
